ABOUT
An alum of MoveOn, Every Voice, SEIU, and Wellstone Action, Rahna Epting has over twenty years of dynamic political and movement leadership experience. She has leveraged her facilitation skills to help build teams and alignment across multiple spaces, from staff teams to boards to large national coalitions.
As the former Executive Director of MoveOn and a pivotal anchor of the Fight Back Table, Rahna regularly charted rapid response political strategy and built alignment across the national progressive ecosystem to strengthen its collective ability to push progressive values into mainstream politics. Throughout her MoveOn tenure, she was instrumental in leading the organization through historic mobilizations to protect the Affordable Care Act in 2019, to hit the streets in solidarity with the racial justice protests of 2020, and to help anchor the historic HandsOff mass mobilization of 2025. Rahna has also overseen and implemented political initiatives and campaign budgets in the millions—including MoveOn’s $32 million 2022 midterm election program and SEIU’s national political member programs (to name a few).
Rahna is a frequent commentator on politics and strategy, appearing on broadcast outlets and new media such as MSNBC, NBC, CNBC, MeidasTouch, and in outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, AP, USA Today, and more. She is the recipient of the 2024 Women's Media Center Progressive Women's Voices IMPACT Award.
A graduate of UC Davis and Lewis & Clark Law School, she also sits on the Democracy Defenders Action and Win Without War boards.
